We are thrilled to offer our players the exciting opportunity to participate in the Copa Med Pre-Season Tournament in Spain next season. This will be a fantastic experience for the team, giving them the chance to compete internationally while bonding with their teammates in a fun and supportive environment.

Tournament Details:

• Location: Costa Maresme, Spain
• Accommodation: Full board (includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
• Dates: Pre-season (exact dates to be confirmed)

Accommodation Options & Costs:

• 4 Nights at Hotel Maresme: £232.00 per person
• 4 Nights at Sorra D’Or: £256.00 per person

Recommended Spending Money: We suggest bringing £50 per player for additional expenses during the trip

Proposed payment terms 

31st December 2024 – Team Registration and Fee

• The club will register for the tournament, and the team fee of £175 will be paid to secure the team’s place.

21st January 2025 – First Deposit (25% per person)

• Each parent will need to pay 25% of the total cost, which is £100 per player.
• This initial payment is due 3 weeks after the team fee has been paid.

Late February 2025 – Second Deposit (25% per person)

• The second payment of £100 per player will be due 5 weeks after the first deposit.

March 2025 – Fundraising Event

• The club will hold a fundraiser in March to raise additional funds to cover the club’s contribution (25% of the total cost).
• Any additional funds raised will reduce parents’ final payments, and any excess will be refunded.

April 2025 – Final Payment (50% per person)

• The final balance of £200 per player (or adjusted amount based on fundraising) will be due 10 weeks before the tournament.

Summary of Payments:

• 31st December 2024: Team registration fee paid by the club.
• 21st January 2025: First deposit of £100 per player due.
• Late February 2025: Second deposit of £100 per player due.
• March 2025: Fundraising event.
• April 2025: Final balance of £200 per player (or adjusted amount based on fundraising) due.

Fundraising Events:

We will also be organising a series of fundraising events in the lead-up to the tournament to help reduce the costs for all families involved. Any additional funds raised will be used to reduce the overall cost, and any remaining money will be refunded to parents after the event.

Your Money is Safe:

All payments will be securely stored in our club bank account. Should we be unable to reach the required number of participants, or if the tournament does not go ahead, all monies paid will be fully refunded.
